New Reads

If you're like me...you finished reading the Twilight series (the second time) way before the movie came out and have been a little book depression ever since. I'm a very very avid reader...but have been dragging my feet at picking up a book. I've been worried that no book can be as entertaining as the Bella, Edward, and Jacob love triangle.

However, I have found a book that seriously had me laughing out loud so hard that I choked and my hair stylist was concerned that I wasn't breathing! Jen Lancaster is the author of this book who started writing a blog after going through many financial hardships. She is as sarcastic as people get with such a dry sense of humor that many times I am wondering if she is joking or really believes some of the things that she is saying!

A couple cool things is that she grew up in Indiana....same as me.... graduated from Purdue University (GO BOILERS!!) same as me...was in a sorority there...same as me...worked at Target....same as me....still LOVES Target...same as me....loves designer, but can afford it....same as me...and well, sarcastic....(sigh) same as me. After I finished reading her first book......
I could not wait to get her second one.........
...which I just started today. By the end of the week, I am sure that I will have purchased and begun reading her third book.......

Eventually...the fourth book will be bought also.....
However, in between reading all of her books, I'll be reading her almost daily blog entries about her life, dogs, husband, books, and random rants. Before you run out to buy her book...I'm sure you all will...check out her blog, Jennsylvania, and I'll be shocked if you don't at least chuckle to yourself!
