This morning, I made heart shaped pancakes for breakfast in the colors of hot pink and purple. I simply dyed the pancake batter pink and purple .....
.....then cooked the pancakes. 
Once they were done, I used heart shaped cookie cutters to turn them from circles to hearts. 
Big C wasn't sure about them at first...he didn't think that they were pancakes, but after a little taste, all was good!

After breakfast, the kids...wow, I can't believe I said kids!.....got to open their Valentine's gifts.
