Race for the Cure

Let's face it, breast cancer SUCKS! It sucks for everyone. It especially sucks for the one out of eight women who will be stricken with it in their life time. Think about, you probably know at least one person who has been affected some how by breast cancer. It just SUCKS!

Yesterday, I signed up and donated money to help find a cure for breast cancer for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Each year I participate, I still get teary eyed seeing the many survivors walking in their pink shirts or reading the back of participates shirts each one stating whom they are walking for...some in celebration, but too many in memory.

You can do your part to help! If you live in the Indy area, sign up to participate in the race or volunteer during the race on April 17th. Can't make it? You can sign up as a "sleeper in" and still make your donation and receive the race day shirt. You can also make a tax-deductible donation to my fund. My goal is $150.00 and every little bit counts!
