Big C's Big Boy Room!

Big C has successfully transitioned into his big boy room! He loves his bed and runs right into his room and gets in bed then sits and looks around like he is King of the castle! His room is not yet totally finished, I need to add a few details, but the big things are in and are in place.

He has a little reading nook complete with two big floor pillows and a handmade rocking chair that is just his size. Papa Jr. hand crafted this special rocking chair for him and Big C loves to sit in it and watch Mickey Mouse.

This is a view from his windows looking to the door of his room. We did add a baby gate at the top of the stairs, but he is actually doing so well at going up and down the stairs on his own. He can reach the banister now and holds on to and steps one foot at a time down the stairs.

I have to admit, his bed is so comfy with the pillows and bedding that I have almost fallen asleep a few times when we have laid in bed and watched Mickey...usually, Big C notices and promptly begins to "tickle" me.

All this was specially created for our Big Boy! ....sigh....Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy that he has been transitioning out of the infant stage and into the toddler/little boy stage so well, but did it have to be so fast?!

Let's just hope that potty training goes as smoothly!
