My Baby is Walking!
Baby C started walking all on her own today! She took off across the room, and kept going and going. Once she got to a wall, she turned and started the other way. When she realized she could do this, she hasn't stopped! The only thing that got her to stop was her lunch being ready! She even learned how to stand herself up all on her own.
The first video is of Baby C learning how to stand up on her own.

Home Movies
Here are a couple of home movies for your viewing pleasure. The first one is of my most favorite part of my birthday...my 3 1/2 year old son singing 'Happy Birthday' to me.

Baby C at 10 and 11 Months Old
My-O-My how big is Baby C getting!!!
Here she is at 10 and 11 months old:

Baby C is showing her personality more and more and fellas you better watch out! Our baby girl is going to be a handful!
Here she is at 10 and 11 months old:
- Baby C still has NO teeth! However, she doesn't let that stop her. She would prefer to eat what you are eating which may include: waffles, spaghetti, any sort of bread (she is a mini-carboholic) chili, soup, etc.
- She only gets one bottle a day (when at the babysitters) which is breast milk (stored up from back in the day) the rest of the day she drinks out of the sippy cup either lactose free milk or water. She only breast feeds 2-3 a day during the week and 3-4 times on the weekend. As soon as she gets teeth or turns 1 (whichever one comes first) she will be done!
- She is wearing 12-18 month clothing and some 24-2T clothing.
- Baby C has no interest in crawling.
- She can maneuver her walker into any tight space.
- She will walk now holding onto some one's fingers.
- Anything that is put on her head (bows, headbands, hats) will be taken off immediately by Baby C, socks too.
- She still has her bright red hair and brilliant blue eyes.
- She says, "Uh-oh" if something falls (correction, when she throws it down) and babbles 'da-da' or 'ba-ba'. She refuses to say 'ma-ma'.
- Baby C absolutely LOVES her big brother and follows him everywhere he goes when she is in her walker (much to his dismay). She loves it when he gives her hugs and kisses and squeals with happiness.
- Baby C has us constantly laughing or smiling every day. She is a true treasure and joy for us to be around. She is Mommy's little cuddle bug (which I'm afraid she will grow out of as soon as she doesn't need me to move around).

Happy Easter! Baby C 2Months!
Baby C is 2 months old today...what a special Easter for us!
What's up with Baby C?
Big C got to open his Easter basket after his FOUR HOUR nap....an Easter present to his parents!
- Baby C is wearing size 2 diapers.
- Baby C is wearing clothes that are 3-6 months old. They are a little big on her in her legs, however she needs the length for her torso. The 0-3 months do not allow for her to stretch and baby girl loves to stretch!
- She is still nursing and does eat breast milk from a bottle.
- She eats every 3 hours during the day but stretches out her feedings to 6 hours at night! Woohoo!
- Baby C has delighted us by beginning to smile which melts our hearts!
- She loves looking at fans and lights. She thoroughly enjoys being outside and watching her big brother play.
- When she is awake, she is so alert! She also LOVES to be cuddled!
- She has continues to spoil us by being such an amazing baby girl!

Baby C: 1 Month Old
I can't believe that Baby C is already 1 month old! It doesn't feel like she could be this old already...time is moving too fast!
What's Baby C been up to?
- She now weighs over 9lbs! She continues to eat really well, however she is a spit up queen and has projectile vomited a few times. Baby C has good aim, if she is aiming for me!
Exhibit A
- For the past two nights, Baby C has only woken up once to eat! She has given me 4-5 hours of consecutive sleep. I couldn't be more happy than that!
- Baby C is so alert! She loves to be talked to and will stare at our faces. She loves her big brother! Big C will crouch down and talk to her "Hi CC. Bye CC. Wuv ewe CC. Tay-ten see you. Tay-ten go to scool." Melts my heart!
- Baby C is still a talker! She grunts nonstop when she is awake. She loves to be up looking around, trying to focus her eyes. She does very well with tummy time (a lot better than her big brother ever did!) and is getting so strong at holding her head up!
- We have been taking short trips...Target, grocery store, TJ Maxx, etc. and she seems to love it although she sleep through them.
- She has been smiling a little, but I hoping next month it will be more deliberate smiling and not just gas smiles!
- Curt, Big C, and I still catch ourselves staring at her. She is just so beautiful and such a blessing to us all!

Baby C: 3 Weeks Old
Baby C is 3 weeks old today.
What has she been up to the past 3 weeks?
- Baby C sleeps most of the day and night. During the day she wakes up to nurse every 3 hours...like clock work! At night time, she will nurse at 10:00pm, 2:30 ish am, and again around 6:00am. Then it is time to get Big C up, dressed, and out the door with Daddy.
- Baby C finally lost the umblicial cord! This makes changing her diaper so much easier.
- Speaking of diapers, Baby C does NOT like to "use the facilities" if her diaper is already dirty. She will wait to go #1 or #2 until she has a clean diaper on. This sometimes means that we go through 2-3 diapers in one changing.
- Baby C is SO alert when she is awake! I love these times! I just talk, talk, talk to her and she starts squirming and "talking" back. It just melts my heart!
- Big C is so protective of his baby sister already! "Tay-ton's baby!" he will tell anyone who tries to take her! He is giving her kisses at night before bed and asks about her every morning when he wakes up.
- Baby C has made us all feel so blessed to have her in our lives. Our family is feeling complete with her here and we all just love her so much!
