Yes, that is true...I am 35 weeks, but measuring at 38 weeks. Baby C's heart rate looks excellent and obviously, she is growing really well too! Dr. B did check me today to see if there was any progression on the labor front. I have been feel lots of Braxton Hicks contractions, some making it hard to walk with as tight as my stomach gets. Not painful, but a little uncomfortable. While checking me, he was surprised to discover that I am 1 cm dilated. He could feel Baby C's head, which mean that she is LOW LOW LOW (about 2-3 inches from seeing the light of day). So...what does this all mean? Well, my body is beginning the labor process...THANK YOU GOD that I don't labor hard as so many women do. (I'm lucky that I will walk around dilating while some women lay in pain for hours just to dilate...ouch!) I will go back to the doctor next week to see if there is any more progression. Looks like Baby C will be here before we know it!
OMG! I am so excited to see this little one!!! I hope she comes soon!
