Saturday is Race for the Cure in Indianapolis. Each year I participate as a walker, this year, I will be participating as a runner, which I use the term 'runner' very lightly. The race is only a 5K, which shouldn't be too bad. I did run a 5K on the treadmill last weekend and I survived! I love that the course runs past the zoo. Each year, they 'dress up' an elephant in pink ribbons. Last year, the baby elephant was playing around its mother, so cute!
I strongly urge you to sign up to participate in the Race for the Cure. Not only is it a wonderful cause, it is always an amazing experience.
