Tiger Blood in Me?

I may have a little bit of the 'tiger blood' in me that Charlie Sheen talks about...
...yes, I know this is leopard print, but I still thought it was funny!

A Party Fit for a DIVA!!

We FINALLY had Baby C's birthday party...the theme...hot pink and ZEBRA! Here are some pictures from the wonderful day.

Baby C and her first love...

The cake table...
I made everything that you will see...the zebra cake, the hot pink cake balls...and the little princess/diva herself! I had pictures on display of Baby C. The cake table had her newborn picture and her one year picture. Oh what a difference 365 days makes!

The yummy food table...
On this table were the monthly pictures of Baby C. Along with cherry limeaide (a party staple at our house) mini-sandwiches, potatoe salad, and chips. Guests also got a party favor of hot pink buble gum flavored popcorn in zebra cones with Lacey's monogramm on it.

The Diva opening her amazing gifts!

Big C watching....

Time to DIVE into her cake!

THANK YOU to everyone who has shared in our precious baby girl's life this past year. She is such an amazing little girl and we feel so very blessed and fortunate that she is ours!
Clap if you had an amazing first birthday....

....this girl did!!!

Baby C and I wore matching "shoes" today. Can you guess who's are who's?

Hint: Baby C is the one with the nice 'stems'!

A Private Letter...Gone Public

Dear Mrs. J,

This weekend, we took family pictures, Big C's 3 year old pictures (yes, a little late) and Baby C's 1 year old pictures. As I was getting Baby C ready, I grabbed a little blue box ( how symbolic that both she and I got our first blue boxes from you!) and unwrapped it for the first time with my baby girl. Reading the note and seeing the gift brought tears to my eyes. As I put the bracelet on Baby C, tears started to stream down my face. I hope and pray that when Baby C grows older, she finds a true soul-mate friend as I have found in you. No amount of distance or time has tarnished our friendship and I will forever be grateful that you have allowed me to share in your life. I can't wait for the day in which I get to introduce my daughter to you. My heart aches with how much I miss you!

Much love my special, dear friend.
